Guild Rules:
We will be having an open forum to continue to update and change rules as needed, as with anything as we grow we must adapt and change. See the Guild Forums page and place comments or requests as you like. Some current general rules are: Ventrilo: I will be funding our ventrilo server. It will be MANDATORY to have ventrilo at least set up, however you are not recommended to talk but you will need it to listen (THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE OFFICERS). Since I am funding this myself I ask guild members to donate using the donate links througout the website. Even 1 dollar a month from every guild member has the potential to go a long ways, so thank you for your willingness to help. Donate at www.yorunomamorigami.webs.com .
Class Leader Requirements: Class Leaders will be determined initially by the Guild Master. Once there is competition though I will start a voting process for those who I deem fit to fill that requirement. They must have Ventrilo instaled on thier computer.
Class Leader Responsibilities: As a class leader you may not always be best fit for an instance or raid, it is your responsibility to know the capabilities of other members of the guild and recommend them if they are better suited. Also it is your responsibility to help lower levels of all classes when it is available.
Promotions: Promotions are primarily based on the level of your character. However there are exceptions to this rule. If you are continually active in the guilds growth, maintenance, and members you may be promoted past your level. This will be decided by Class Leaders, Guardians, and Myself only. You may not be promoted past one range of level requirments though unless you are a twinking member then you may have that option.
New Member: New members may not always be promoted directly to their level. The guild may wait an undetermined amount of time before properly promoting new members. This is to avoid some issues the Guardians and myself have encountered in the past such as guild bank robbing. However don't let this discourage you, most likely you will be promoted to your proper level within one or two days.
Guild Taxes: At the moment we do not have guild taxes. If we open up the guild bank for repairs to members we will however start having guild taxes based on your rank in the guild. Higher levels would pay more because we have the potential to earn more and our repair bills can run very high.
Suspension: Suspension is the lowest rank; you cannot withdraw from guild bank, invite members, or have most priviliges many ranks take advantage of. This will be used for those who leave the guild and want to come back or those who receive multiple complaints from fellow guild members. The next step after suspension is being removed from the guild.
Inactivity: I will continue to check the activity of accounts. If your account is inactive for 20 days I will remove it from the Guild. In order to prevent this from happening I will need you do send me some form of contact in advance. See the link Q. & A. for how to contact me.
Removal: If you are removed from the guild for any reason including inactivity, or otherwise when and if you return you will be placed into suspension for up to two weeks maximum.
Conduct: The guild is a place of social events and should be treated as such. Constant use of vulgarity is not acceptable, cussing is not necessarily considered vulgarity. Just use your better judgement, some of our members have small children that may overhear our guild chat so keep that in mind.
Guild Bank: As you progress in rank your activity in the guild bank may increase. If a lower member needs something and you are available it is requested you retrieve it for them. See the Guild Bank link for more details.
Member Requirements: We ask that you help fellow guild members when it is available. If you are unavailable please just reply you cannot help right now don't just ignore someone, it may be taken as being rude. Also you will need to install Ventrilo onto your computer.
Instances: The level 60's and above will run the mid-range instances, while the mid-range levels should help run any instances below level 30. If you do not post a request for an instance by the Thursday prior to the weekend do not expect us to run you.
Leveling: We are not a leveling service, we expect you to "Play The Game". Guild members are not your personal body guards and should not be expected to act as such. You as a member joined; this means you should be responsible for how far you make it.
Alt Characters: We would like to keep the number of alt characters in the guild to a minimum however I understand wanting all your characters in the same guild so you may socialize with your friends. In order for people to know please let a high ranking member know so we can put it in your guild profiles note.
Inviting New Members: Do to the rapid growth all new members should be at least level 20 and above. Only those level 40 and above are allowed to invite new members, lower levels just need to ask a member of higher level to invite their friends and they should if they are above level 20.
The rules may be altered from time to time and even have the potential to be added to, changed, or removed without notice.
